At Libraries, we support and promote the Research Excellence Areas in Libraries (REALs) as well as support the campus’ research in research data management, research impact analysis, open access publishing, and other Libraries scholarly resources. Purdue Libraries faculty and research staff members collaborate with colleagues within Purdue or across universities to apply library science principles to the management of information and data. They are research and educational partners in the integration of information in learning and research projects.
The research expertise at Purdue Libraries include information literacy studies, evidence synthesis, research data management, as well as information studies in various disciplines including digital humanities, geospatial information, archival studies, open science, etc. Purdue Libraries promotes interdisciplinary collaborations with the emphasis of information integration in various research and learning opportunities.
